- outdated and brokenthe product is outdated, there are nicer products for the same money out there. The mouse scroll wheel was hard to move, and I also received it with the keyboard not working and had to return it.

- Really enjoying my Microsoft Wireless Desktop 5000I have found my Desktop 5000 to work well with only one exception. The sound controls would not function. I called Microsoft, had a great technician who gave me about 30 minutes of his time and solved my problem. Now, everything works without even a hiccup. By the way, I've had my Desktop 5000 for several weeks and am still using the same batteries. Battery level is reading "good", even after all of this time.

- Fine for normal uses, would not recommend for power usersI bought my wife this desktop/mouse combo. She loves it, although I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to keep it.
Pros:
- Keyboard is ergonomic and just the right size, mouse has a nice shape and plenty of buttons
- Bluetooth has so far worked flawlessly, even when I pair my phone to a hands-free device in the same room

- Definite lag between what you do on the keyboard and mouse, and when it responds

- excelent productI recieved my keyboard an works great. I use the keyboard on vista, xp, ubuntu, red hat and was excelent product.
I recommend this product, low price.

- Optical Desktop ReviewI find the keyboard to use batteries at a very fast pace and the response is slow to almost unresponsive at times even with brand new batteries and close to the recieving unit. The mouse seems to work fine 95% of the time.
