The best thing about these panels is that they can be built right into the roof of a home or office so that they blend with the other roofing tiles and are not very noticeable.

Another system is more like the older solar panels in that it has to be mounted to a structure so that it is pointed at the sunlight. These solar panels for sale are usually more expensive than the kind mentioned above. These systems are called photovoltaic systems, and are hooked into another system that converts the energy into an alternating current that the appliances in the household can use.
