Text-Link-Ads Protect Affiliate Links Using Tinyurl.com Service
A few days ago I received email from Text-Link-Ads fo my very first TLA account that they’ve begun using tinyurl.com to shorten and secure affiliate referrel link. But I haven’t received the same email for my second account. I was thinking that the mail was scam or fraud email to steal affiliate commission. I compared the IP-Address of the sender with other email I received from TLA for my second account, I didn’t see any difference. When I log on to my last account, I found that the referral link has been changed to use tinyurl.com. Unfortunately, this kind of information was not published on TLA’s official website.
Hiding affiliate links by cloaking / making a redirect are become common for almost every affiliates nowadays. Usually many affiliates will make the cloaking / redirect by themselves but what TLA is doing right now is different. I think this is due to latest Google policy to fight unnatural link that ‘polluted’ their page rank result, and to avoid Google detection, TLA use tinyurl.com redirection service. Probably Google may detect the website which is involved in the paid linking scheme by seeing any affiliate link with text-link-ads.com
. Not sure, how do you think ?
