CREATIVE ZEN V Plus 8GB MP3 Player

I am not going to make review of this product, all written here are just base on my personal opinions. This is my third MP3 Player I ever bought. The first one is a portable CD player that also can play MP3 and VCD from Panasonic, MV65. The second (512MB Muvo Vidz) and last one are flash type MP3 players and both from Creative. I do not know why I choose Creative, maybe it is due to the reason that Creative is one of the maker of famous sound card in the world …

I bought this player online on 17 Mar 2007. The price at that time was S$299, same as when I wrote this post. Maybe too lazy to go to find this player, so I decided to buy online. Of course I did some researches before I decided to buy it. My criteria are flash type, at least 4GB, with FM Tuner capability, line in recording, small enough and … cheap

Unfortunately, I do not like the user interface of this player. I cannot browse the audio files folder by folder. It always display the content base on ID3 tag which actually I do not like much. I prefer the old style, using folder and file name :). So far I do not know how to turn off and display the content base on folder / directory structure, same as my Muvo Vidz. Anybody knows about it ?
The size is excellent for me. Not to small or too big. I do not care with the opinion if the outlook looks cheap due to its jog dial, as long as the function works well.

So far I didn't use it frequently. Eventhough this player plays small divx file, but I never use this feature. Also the ability to play JPEG files. I use it for audio only, including FM tuner. The audio quality using the original Creative ear phone is good, at least for me. Maybe it will be better if we use better ear phone or head set. But overall, this player is enough for me, so far I do not have any plan to change to other players.
