Six new Lumix Cameras from Panasonic
At the end of January 2007, Panasonic launched six new LUMIX Cameras. One of the cameras including world slimmest camera with 28 mm wide angle zoom lens. The company named it as DMC-FX30. Another one is TZ3, the smallest 10x optical zoom lens camera in the world. the other four models are FS1, FZ8, LZ7 and LS75.
Main features of DMC-FX30 are 7.3 Megapixel resolution with new 3.6 optical zoom, 28 mm wide angle Leica DV-Vario Elmarit lens. Panasonic together with Leica created this lens to achieve the 22.0 mm body profile. There is four color options for FX30, precious silver, urban blue, sensual brown and extra black.
The TZ3, successor of TZ1, that uses a newly-developed 28 mm wide-angle, 10x zoom Leica DC VARIO-ELMAR lens have more compact body, 105.0 x 59.2 x 36.7 mm dubbed the “World Traveler” because of its compactness and traveler-friendly functions. This camera also have a function to extent 10 x zoom up to 15 x zoom with Extra Optical Zoom (EZ) for 3 MP image recording. It has a large 3inch LCD display with 230,000 pixel resolution for easy viewing during shooting and playback. This camera also featured with Intelligent Image Stabilization System consists MEGA
O.I.S and IIC (Intelligent ISO Control) gives three-fold protection from blurred images to deliver clear crisp images. The IIC will adjust ISO levelsetting and shutter speed depend on the subject movement. This is made possible by Venus Engine III image processing LSI.
All six models incorporate Venus Engine III and I.I.C and about 27MB built-in memory (except DMC-FZ3, only 12.7MB) . The other four models include the 7.2-megapixel DMC-FZ8 with a powerful 12x optical zoom lens, the 6.0-megapixel DMC-FS1 designed for the beginners who are conscious of image quality as well as style and operational ease and the 7.2-megapixel DMC-LZ7 and LS75 that run on two AA dry cell batteries.
