Dreamhost's Starting Disk Storage Drops ?

Today I noticed something on Dreamhost website. It is about Disk Storage they offers to new customers. Yes, on 5th February they drops starting disk storage when a user signed up to 183.5 GB (previously is 200 GB then 184 GB). I do not know what the reasons behind this decrement of starting disk storage. When I first signed up to Dreamhost, I get 20 GB. but several months later they increased by 10 times ! Not only that, now they also still increase the space by 1 GB per week. I know I will never reach to eat all the space they given but I really happy with that. Now I have almost 220 GB storage and 2,4 TB Bandwidth ! (and not even 1 % I use :)).

In terms of normal use, actually you will not use all 184 GB they provides, except maybe you have big collection of MP3 or Video files you upload to dreamhost server :). If you run a blog that the main content is text, I think 1 GB also considered very very big blog. You must post twelve articles everyday started from 1980

The main thing when using dreamhost maybe how you burden the server. If your application may kill the server due to heavy and abnormal load, they may suspend your account !
